Forum added to the website

This is a screen shot of what the forum looks likeI’ve added a forum to the Hawaii Bottle Man site for all who have an interest in Hawaii bottle collecting.  This will be a very useful place for collectors to collaborate and share with each other. I’ve allowed guests to be able to view most of the discussion boards.  In order to contribute to the site you have to register.  Click on the “Forum” link above to get to it.    If you have any ideas for improvements, please send me a message.

  1. I have been publishing a history of bottle collecting on a state-by-state basis in the Federation of Historical Bottle Collectors magazine, Bottles and Extras. I have had some correspondence with individuals in Hawaii, but haven’t been able to find a person who could write a comprehensive history of bottle collecting in The Islands. Marianne Dow, of the Findlay (Ohio) Bottle Club, published your newsletter in her current issue. I am hoping you can help. If so, please advise. Thank you.

  2. Hi,

you mention a Hawaii milk bottle collector site on your website. There is a email for Gene Takae but it is invalid.

do u by chance have his active/current email address? I am trying to get an idea of values on a few Hawaii milk bottle caps that I have.

    Thank u.

  3. Anyone have any information on a Hauula Dairy ? I found a milk bottle on a hike way off the beaten path.
    Thanks,
    Derrick
