Aloha. Welcome to hawaiibottleman.com.  Over the last couple of years I looked online for a website dedicated to bottle collecting in Hawaii.  I would occasionally come across some websites that would have some information about Hawaiian bottle collecting but none of them was completely dedicated to the hobby.  This past summer an idea came to mind to create a website specifically for Hawaiian bottle collecting.  With the help of family, friends, and a strong passion for the hobby I put this idea to action.  The website was launched in August of 2010.

So a little bit about myself.  I first started collecting Hawaiian bottles  when I was 12 years old.  The hobby first began for me while going on hikes with my dad and brother along old trails on O’ahu.  On one particular hike we found a Dairymen’s milk bottle in Mokule’ia on O’ahu’s North Shore.  That moment was the beginning of a life long hobby.  Since that time we have dug for old bottles in old sugar plantation camps and old parts of Honolulu.

My hope is that this site will become a resource for collectors of Hawaiian bottles from the past and present and a place where the future generation of collectors can come and learn about bottle collecting in Hawaii.  If you have an interesting story you would like to share or have featured on the website send an email my way.  Mahalo for visiting and come again soon.

Aloha,

The Hawaii Bottle Man
